JerryJerry began playing piano at age 5. Everyone in the family played music. Parties, weddings and dances were a part of entertaining while growing up in Richland, Washington, also home of Jazz Guitar legend, Larry Coryell. Larry and I were friends and used to jam a bit in high school. Jerry started playing in a Rock band in the early 60s. His band opened for the Righteous Brothers in 1964 and recorded at Herb Alpert’s A & M studio in Hollywood. In the 60s Jerry began playing a Hammond B-3 with Leslie which opened many musical doors and the best of keyboard sounds. While touring in the Mid-west his band opened for the Boxtops (The Letter) at the famed Surf Ballroom, last venue of Buddy Holly, Richie Vallens and the Big Bopper. Throughout his music career, Jerry has played in Rock, Funk, Jazz and Blues Bands. Has played piano at Brookside Country Club in Stockton for many years and is a regular solo performer at the Bear Valley Lodge, California.
